Hello Topanga! Danielle Fishel Strips For Maxim

Danielle Fishel, a.k.a. Topanga, is about to make every boy's world! The Disney star will soon return to TV for the Boy Meets World spin-off, Girl Meets World, but in the meantime, she's stripping down for Maxim magazine.

Aside from revealing her killer curves, the actress also disclosed where the name Topanga actually came from and cleared up some romance rumors involving her and co-star Ben Savage. Fishel is quick to shut down the claims that she and her on-screen husband dated. "That rumor was entirely my fault because I once said, on The Tyra Banks Show, that Ben and I went on a date, and that turned into 'Danielle and Ben dated.' We went on one date, when I was about 15, and by the time the dinner was over we realized mutually that we were more like family than lovers."

As for how her character's strange name came about, the actress recalls, "Michael Jacobs, who created Boy Meets World, says he was driving down the highway when production called and said, 'We need a name for this character!' He happened to be driving past Topanga Canyon, so he said, 'Topanga.' He says that if they had called him two miles later, I would've been named Canoga, which is the next exit."

Now, the 31-year-old actress has met several little girls who are her character's namesake: "People will tweet me, and I've had family members who have met other Topangas. It's crazy and it's flattering, but I never know what to say when they're showing me their beautiful little girls. I'm like, 'Really? Topanga!'"

After all, Fishel is more of a Kelly Kapowski kind of girl. "I can tell you Kelly Kapowski was my first-ever girl crush," she told the mens' magazine of Tiffani Thiessen's Saved By the Bell character. "I remember watching her and thinking, 'Nobody in the world could possibly be as beautiful as she is.' She's still stunning."

Girl Meets World
will premiere on the Disney Channel later this year.
