Most recently, former Bachelor Sean Lowe revealed his plans to delay the deed until he and fiancee Catherine Giudici embark on their honeymoon, which they predict will happen sometime this year. Though the 28-year-old never claimed to be a celibate man, he told ET that the Man Upstairs compelled him to approach marriage the old-fashioned way.

Sean explained, "I've lived selfishly and I just came to a point where I said I'm going to turn it over to God and I'm going to do it his way."

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon kept it PG with his bride-to-be Mariah Carey in the six weeks they dated before their 2008 wedding.

"We both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married," Carey told London's Daily Mirror months after their romantic Bahamian ceremony.

During an interview with radio host Howard Stern, Cannon explained that the anticipation of marrying his dream girl staved away any temptation he might experience.

"I knew what her values were," he said, but conceded that they participated in over-the-clothing make-out sessions while engaged.
