Carrie, who turned 30 on March 10, spent her birthday at her Nashville, Tennessee home with husband Mike Fisher.

"[My husband] bought me an amazing present, but he was under the weather on my actual birthday," said Carrie, who opted for a quiet night in. She went on to joke, "I do expect a redo. I do expect a nice dinner out at some point. We'll call it my birthday dinner."

Carrie and Mike have been married for two years and it seems that children would be in their future, just not their near future. The country singer named their hectic schedules as the primary reason for delaying their parenthood.

"I think at some point we'll just have to say, 'Let's just do it,'" Carrie said.

The crooner's fourth album, Blown Away is available now. Watch the video for more.
