With a leading man like Tom Cruise running around newly single, it can't be helped to wonder if he is on the prowl for the leading lady in his life. "I'm not thinking about it right now. Right now I'm thinking about the movie," Cruise laughingly said.

Ladies, you can breathe easy. For now, it seems the only love in Tom Cruise's life is his love child with director Joseph Kosinski and co-stars Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo and Zoe Bell, to name a few. The year is 2077 in the film, set 60 years after Earth has suffered a catastrophic alien invasion. Cruise plays Former Marine Commander, Jack Harper, one of the last few drone mechanics set on Earth sent to destroy any remaining alien resistance, led by Freeman, and collect the remaining Earth's resources.

"It's been incredible. I am so excited about this film," Cruise says. "It's such a unique movie. It's something audiences haven't seen."

A true slave to the art, Cruise is famously known for doing his own stunts and Oblivion is no exception.

'' There's one where I'm going over a table and I almost broke my neck. You can just see my neck bend in a very unusual way. That wasn't CGI."

Oblivion is only director Joe Kisinki's second film after his sci-fi hit Tron in 2010, and Cruise promises that audiences will be hanging on the edge of their seats until the very end of the movie.

"I remember when I was going through the story there were moments where I went 'woah' what just happened there?" Cruise says. "It's wonderful seeing [the reactions of] audiences across the world because the film has so many twists and turns up until the final frame."

Cruise has been traveling worldwide promoting the project. When asked by ET how he deals with all of the fame, specifically the paparazzi, like a true professional, Cruise just takes it in stride.

"I just live my life. I feel fortunate enough to be able to do that. And just live your life. I've been doing this a while."
