Despite recent rumors that Miley Cyrus and her fiance, 23 year-old Liam Hemsworth, have hit a rough patch in their four-year relationship and put their wedding plans on hold, the former Hannah Montana star tells the April issue of ELLE UK that getting engaged to The Hunger Games actor was the natural next step.

"We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed," Cyrus said. "But we keep our relationship low-key and don't talk about it anymore."

Cyrus and Hemsworth met on the set of The Last Song in 2010 and got engaged in May 2012. After recent news of the couple's reported breakup, Cyrus took to Twitter in March and posted: "I am so sick of LA. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining."

Prone to frequent postings on Twitter, the Can't Be Tamed singer says that she has recently made a conscious effort to keep her private life private.

"We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight -- into my life and my puppies and my house -- and I just don't feel they get that privilege any more. Like on my Twitter, I'm much more... not conservative, but you don't see a picture of my dogs. You don't get that personal stuff any more."

One thing Cyrus says she's trying to be more conservative about is showing off her body. Though often seen photographed in skin-baring outfits, the star says she now knows what's really sexy.

"A star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your tits," she told ELLE. "I don't want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it's all about their clothes -- or lack of clothes."

What do you think? Will Cyrus walk down the aisle and marry Hemsworth?
