Jennifer Aniston is known for her famously toned physique, and on Tuesday night she gave thanks to her friend/yoga guru Mandy Ingber for help getting her there.
Aniston co-hosted a party at the SoHo House in Los Angeles with SELF to celebrate the release of Ingber's new book, Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover, where she gave tips on the red carpet for achieving the perfect body.
"Love the body that you have now, 'cause that's the perfect body," Aniston said. "And then be patient with yourself. And when you first start you might feel like, 'I can't do this, I can't do this, this hurts,' and then be patient, do little bits, and you get there and you do. It's all about being really gentle with yourself, and acceptance of what it is at the moment."
Aniston was full of praise for Ingber, one of her "best friends."
"She's just energizing. She's encouraging, she's inspiring," she gushed. "We just have fun together. She's also one of my best friends for 22 years, so that helps."
Many of Ingber's other A-list friends, including Courteney Cox and Kate Beckinsale, also came to the event to show their support.
"Yoga's obviously body, mind and spirit, so that's the best thing you can do," Cox said. "That's something I've been doing for awhile -- I kind of go off and on it -- but that's what you always come back to because it's the best for you."
Beckinsale also admitted that exercising doesn't exactly come natural to her.
"I don't love exercising so I like the fact that there's always a 10 minute period at the end where you're lying down and relaxing and stretching," Beckinsale said. "That part sees me through the difficult bits."
