According to The Associated Press, a judge determined that the Grammy winner failed to pay taxes on about $1 million in earnings.

The news source reports that Hill's attorney claimed that the singer had paid more than $970,000 of her state and federal tax liabilities.

Last year, the 37-year-old mother of six pleaded guilty in the case, later claiming that she meant to pay the taxes eventually but was unable to during her hiatus from the music business.

Hill also faces three additional months of home confinement, according to the AP.
