Kim Kardashian turned heads and got mixed reviews for her all-over flower Riccardo Tisci couture gown at the 2013 Met Gala on May 6. At the premiere of her new ensemble comedy Peeples, the always fashionable Kerry Washington weighed in on the reality star's wardrobe choice.

"Everyone I thought looked beautiful," Washington said without elaborating.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s star has received a lot of heat for some of her maternity wardrobe choices and is often accused of wearing too-revealing or ill-fitted clothes while pregnant with boyfriend Kanye West’s child.

Decked out in a black and white Narciso Rodriguez dress with a trailblazing train, Washington hit the red carpet of the premiere of the new Tyler Perry film, which also stars Craig Robinson and David Alan Grier. On working with Robinson, Washington says there was never a dull moment.

"I love Craig Robinson. I love him so much. He’s like a big teddy bear, you just want to squish him. He’s a fantastic human being, so I am very happy to have had the opportunity to work with him," Kerry gushes about her co-star.

“Kerry is ultimate women. Brilliant, talented, beautiful. Tyler Perry has used his power to shine a light on this project,” Robinson said.

Famous for his role in The Office, Robinson now plays Wade Walker, a sap in love with Washington’s character, Grace Peeples. Walker crashes the esteemed annual Peeple’s family reunion to ask for Grace’s hand in marriage. David Alan Grier takes on the role of the patriarch who is not convinced that Walker is the right fit for his beloved daughter.

Written and directed by Tina Gordon Chism and presented by Tyler Perry, the first time director said working with the media mogul was a dream come true.

"It’s a little nerve-wracking, but I am excited to share it with the audience. Amazing. He’s (Tyler Perry) like the ultimate big brother. He’s like having a great big brother. It’s been great. He’s been a great protector of the project, supporter of me. Stayed out of the way when I needed to, got involved when I needed him to," Chism said.

Perry also revealed the premiere of two brand new shows coming out on the Oprah Network. Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots follows a wealthy Georgia couple as they get involved in the personal lives of the staff hired to maintain their expensive home.

Love Thy Neighbor, Perry’s second show, follows Mama Hattie, a fan-favorite character from a slew of plays written and produced by Perry. Both shows are set to premiere late in May.
