Kanye West Reacts To Cheating Allegations

Kanye West is speaking out against claims made by 24-year-old Leyla Ghobadi to Star magazine that he cheated on his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

The 36-year-old rapper's rep tells ET: "This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit. It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives."

Ghobadi alleges that she was seeing West since July 2012 and on into October of last year, when Kardashian was pregnant but had yet to announce. Claiming that the Yeezus singer finds his relationship with the 32-year-old Kardashian as "for publicity and nothing serious," she tells the magazine, "This is going to destroy the Kardashian family. It's bad. It’s really bad. It's just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know."

According to Star, Ghobadi and West's relationship began after he saw her dancing in the crowd at his Atlantic City show in July. He then reportedly asked her to have drinks with him at HQ Nightclub, and then come back to his hotel room. "I refused, as I felt it was too rushed," the Canadian model tells the publication, adding that she did in fact go back with him. "We began to make out for a while, and next thing I knew, we were both naked and having sex."

Ghobadi is claiming that West contacted her as recent as last weekend, but says she's refused to see him since learning of Kardashian's pregnancy.

While West and Kardashian both deny Ghobadi's cheating accusations, Star magazine tells ET that they are standing by their story.
