It's been about a year since the infamous altercation between Drake and Chris Brown at New York's W.i.P. nightclub, and in an interview with GQ magazine the rapper comments candidly on the love triangle he's found himself in between Brown and Rihanna.

"It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage," the 26-year-old begins. "Two rappers fighting over the woman. He's not even a rapper, but still, it's the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he's made me the enemy, and that's the way it's gonna stay, I guess."

As for Brown himself, Drake wants nothing to do with the 24-year-old R&B star. "I don't want my name to be synonymous with that guy's name," he tells GQ. "I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that's not going to happen. I'm not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I'm not going to back down."

When asked if he's over the back-and-forth feud with Brown, who was charged with domestic dispute in 2009 after a physical altercation with Rihanna, Drake admits, "If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly." Clarifying, the rapper adds, "Like, it gets really dark."
