Mariah Carey has left the building! In a 30-second video that included blow kisses and an entourage of nurses, a fully made-up Mariah exits the New York hospital after suffering a dislocated shoulder.
"Well, that was fun," the Butterfly singer says to camera as she wheeled to her car.
Carey, 43, tweeted to her fans more details about her time in the hospital on Thursday, July 11, writing:
Thanks all for the well wishes <3 Still in a lot of pain - cracked rib, fractured shoulder, bruises everywhere, but the show must go on.— Mariah Carey (@MariahCarey) July 11, 2013
In a sling, but will do my best to make it look good w/ the ensemble Sat w/ the NY philharmonic, an amazing honor for such a great cause.— Mariah Carey (@MariahCarey) July 11, 2013
In addition to the video and tweets, the former American Idol judge also shared a photo of her injury on Instagram.
Carey's injury occurred over the weekend while filming a music video. Despite her new sling accessory, the singer is still set to perform on Saturday, July 13, in New York City's Central Park for the MLB All Star Charity Concert with the NY Philharmonic!
