UPDATE: Officials tell ET that police have concluded their investigation and determined that Cory Monteith was alone when he died.

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed Cory Monteith died from a mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol. Toxicology results did not indicate any presence of the drug fentanyl.

The post-mortem testing, which included an autopsy and toxicological analysis, seem to confirm this was an accident.
