Monteith admitted that he and his roommates liked to entertain at their bachelor pad: "There's the indoor bar and the outdoor bar," said Monteith, who assured ET that he refrained from drinking during their popular bashes -- one of which was inspired by the Rat Pack.

"I guess there was four or five hundred people here and they use all these martini glasses and they make a big production out of it," said Monteith.

The actor then showed ET his room -- bare and basic.

"I'm never really here to be in my room," Monteith explained. "I'm always shooting a television show."

Yesterday, the BC Coroners Service confirmed that Monteith died from a mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol. The 31-year-old star was found deceased in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, shortly after noon on July 13.
