Kate Middleton stepped out Friday in her first official public appearance since giving birth last month to the royal baby, Prince George.
The Duchess of Cambridge appeared to be in tip-top shape -- wearing dark blue pants and a white polka dot blouse with a gray blazer -- while accompanying her husband Prince William to an event for marathon participants on the island of Anglesey in Wales. The Duke and Duchess have lived on the island since 2009, when Prince William began his service as a search and rescue pilot.
The royal couple did not take along their newborn son Prince George, who was born July 22. "He's very well, thank you," Kate said when asked how the baby is doing. "He's sleeping at the moment."
William was presented with a packet of baby wet wipes by one crowd member, which he gladly received with a smile.
