Former Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek's family is about to get bigger!
"James and I are happy to report that we are expecting our third child this winter!" the star's wife Kimberly announced Friday on her blog, Old School New Rules.
"My energy is slowly creeping back in. There was actually a day this week where I decided to wake up and embrace an early morning before my kids did, instead of dragging my feet into the kitchen to fetch bananas and water while holding one on each hip," Kimberly added.

"I feel ridiculously blessed. I feel so much love, honestly," James toldPeople magazine about the baby news. The 36-year-old star -- who recently starred in the ABC comedy Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 -- is set to star in the CBS sitcom Friends with Better Lives in the fall.
Kimberly writes that despite their busy schedules, both mother and father are excited to be adding to their brood, which currently consists of their daughter Olivia, 3, and son, Joshua, 17 months. "All of the craziness, exhaustion and moodiness aside, James and I are beyond elated and feeling so incredibly blessed. Olivia and Joshua are in on the news and seem to be excited about a baby coming into the family."
She also offers some tips for significant others of pregnant women: 1) Don't take it personally; 2) Learn to read minds; 3) The occasional nap is a not an indulgence, it’s a necessity (we are doubling our blood and building a human!).
