Giada Talks New Restaurant at LA Food & Wine

As the third annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival took the city by storm, ETonline caught up with some hungry celeb foodies who were there to get a taste of L.A.'s best restaurants.  Watch the video above to see what celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis has planned for the Las Vegas Strip!

For four days, festival guests got a chance to sample the finest cuisines from some of the world’s most influential chefs.  Celebrity chef and TV personality, Giada De Laurentiis, helped kick things off with her Festa Italiana, a showcase of traditional and modern Italian dishes, both of which are her specialty.  She revealed to ET plans her very first restaurant, set to open early next year in Las Vegas:

"I'm really looking to create a restaurant that's a little bit homier, a little bit more feminine, very much my brand: warm and comforting," Giada said.  "When people walk through the door, I want them to feel like they're going to get a big bear hug, regardless of whether I'm there or not."  Her restaurant will feature Italian cuisine with a flare and will be located in the soon to be constructed Gansevoort Las Vegas resort, right on the strip.

Foractress Ali Larter, the release of her new cookbook, Kitchen Revelry has allowed her to share her love of entertaining and simple delicious meals with the world.  "Over the years I've really learned that food is about enjoying the process, a great dinner party is your attitude," she explained, when asked about the concept behind her new book.  "I kind of took away that you need to have perfect linens and perfect plates, it's really messy entertaining and really good food without having it look perfect."

Outside of acting, Anthony Anderson (Guys With Kids, The Departed) has been busy traveling across America for his new AOL On series, Anthony Eats America, which debuted in July.  In each video segment, he’s on a mission to find the nation’s best home cooks, one kitchen at a time.

For some in Hollywood, cooking is a way to unwind from a busy shooting schedule, especially when one has a specialty dish.  "I really enjoy cooking, its therapeutic for me," Dallas star Josh Henderson described.  "I love cooking my turkey chili -- but also my great grandmother had a recipe, a black-eyed-pea dip, it's very Texas. I bring it to parties and people go nuts that they literally won't stop until it's all gone!"

The third season of Dallas is slated to premiere in early 2014 on TNT.
