In the company of fans, family, and close pals/industry heavyweights Christopher Guest and Glee creator Ryan Murphy, a giddy, un-Sue-Sylvester-like Jane Lynch accepted the 2,505th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Wednesday in Los Angeles.
On stage during the Hollywood Blvd. ceremony, the 53-year-old actress embraced the honor with gusto, giving enthusiastic thanks to all who came.
"I stand here today in the preposterous position of receiving a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame because of all of you and I thank you so much," she said.
Afterwards, ET Canada caught up with the Glee star who filled our friends in on her after-ceremony plans: a big family dinner!
"We're going to Musso and Frank!" revealed Jane to with an ear-to-ear grin. "We're going to have a little reception and my family is in town. I have the best friends in the world, and they are my family and we're all going to hang out. The day is in front of us and we're all going to seize it. We're going to seize Jane Lynch day!"
