It's Official: Bruno Mars to Perform at Super Bowl

Singer Bruno Mars has been confirmed to be the headliner for the Super Bowl XLVIII’s halftime show on February 2, 2014, confirming reports that surfaced Saturday.

The Grammy-winning crooner will take the stage for the Pepsi-sponsored show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Mars, 27, has sold more than 115 million singles worldwide and scored his first five Hot 100 No. 1s faster than any male since Elvis Presley, Billboard reports.

The Locked Out Of Heaven singer joins an impressive roster of Super Bowl halftime show performers that includes Beyoncé, Madonna, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, U2 and many more.
