The jury in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial has found concert promoter AEG Live not liable in the King of Pop's death.
Katherine Jackson and Michael's three children filed the lawsuit against AEG in 2010, accusing the company of factoring into Michael's death through their alleged negligence in hiring or supervising Dr. Conrad Murray. AEG's lawyers argued that they didn't hire Murray and that Michael chose the doctor as a family physician.
Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 and is scheduled to be released from jail later this month.
On June 25, 2009, just days before launching his comeback tour, Michael died of an overdose of propofol -- a surgical anesthetic that Murray said he prescribed for Michael in order to treat insomnia.
