Brooke Anderson on Family Breast Cancer Struggle

To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ET's own Brooke Anderson is sharing her family's experience with the disease.

In a new interview with Dr. Freda Lewis-Hall, Chief Medical Officer of Pfizer, Brooke shares about the moment on Christmas night 2012 when she learned that her mother, Vicki Anderson, had invasive breast cancer.

"I remember feeling like the floor fell out from under me, as I watched my parents just crumble in front of us," Brooke reveals.

"There were a lot of hugs and a lot of tears," Brooke says about her family rallying support behind her mom, who later underwent a double mastectomy.
