J.Lo's Latest Honor: Barbie Dolls

Earlier this year, Jennifer Lopez was cemented in Hollywood history with a star on the Walk of Fame, and now the international megastar is being further eternalized with a pair of her own Barbie dolls.

"I wanted to live in Barbie's world. I wanted to be Barbie," Lopez said as she sat next to her brand-Barbie new dolls.

PICS: The Sultry Styles of Jennifer Lopez!

Barbie Collector's director of design Robert Best sculpted two different versions of J.Lo's Barbie: Jennifer Lopez World Tour—a smiling, bedazzled Lopez ready to take the stage— and Jennifer Lopez Red Carpet—a sultry Lopez wearing an elegant gown.

"She really worked her way to the top," Best said. "I think she's gotten to where she is through hard work, dedication, [and] perseverance, and she's really an incredible role model for young girls and for anyone, honestly."

Amongst the little girls who will look up to Lopez as a role model as they play with the doll is her own four-year-old daughter, Emme.

"I feel the most proud of myself when I'm being a great mom," the 44-year-old mother of twins said. "Your children emulate what you do and I always want to set a good example for them."

The recipient of the 2,500th star on the Walk of Fame said she hopes that her children and other owners of the doll will aspire for a fruitful future when thinking about her and her rags-to-riches success.

"They can play in their rooms and go, 'What am I going to do with my life?'" Lopez said. "You just have to follow your dreams. ... Nobody knows what's right for you but you. ... You should dream big because you never know what's going to happen."
