ET caught up with all the stars at GQ's annual Men of the Year Party in Los Angeles Tuesday night, where the handsome leading men revealed what they personally consider to be the highlight of their year, as well as who their dream bromance would be!

Funnyman Will Ferrell, who alongside Matthew McConaughey, Justin Timberlake, the late James Gandolfini and rapper Kendrick Lamar was chosen to be one of the five cover stars of the annual awards issue, got serious for a rare moment when talking about his highlight -- filming the highly anticipated Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

"Professionally speaking, getting to shoot Anchorman 2, and you know, not ever having done a sequel to any of the films I've done before, and not knowing how that would go -- if the rest of the guys would be meshing the same way -- and really have it be, literally, just as much fun as the first one, that's probably the highlight of the year for me," he told ET.

As for who his dream bromance would be with, he revealed that it would be Los Angeles Kings hockey player Drew Doughty.

"He's got a sexy beard," he explained.

On the other hand, his fellow cover star Matthew McConaughey's bromance choice is surprisingly sweet.

" ... Probably my son," he said, referring to his oldest child, five-year-old Levi. "That's my buddy."

Andy Samberg also showed his sweet side when revealing his highlight of the year -- getting married to singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom in September -- but got decidedly raunchier when talking about his dream "three-way bromance" with Lonely Island group members Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone.

"Probably just a getaway spa weekend," he joked when explaining what he would consider a perfect bromance hang-out with them would be. "Just a lot of oil and liniments. Not necessarily rubbing each other down, but like, being in the room while the others are getting rubbed down -- and then also rubbing each other down."
