Jake Gyllenhaal Injures Hand on 'Nightcrawler' Set

Jake Gyllenhaal had to receive stitches as a result of an on-set injury while filming the upcoming indie film Nightcrawler, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The news source reports that while shooting a scene that required him to hit a mirror, Gyllenhaal accidentally broke it and cut his hand.

A rep for the actor told THR that he spent hours in the emergency room but later returned to the set.

Nightcrawler, which also stars Rene Russo and Bill Paxton, hits theaters next year.
