Torrey DeVitto -- star of The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and Army Wives -- is a life-long animal advocate and stars in a brand new campaign for The Ad Council and The Humane Society of the United States.

Timed perfectly to Celebrate Shelter Pets Day (December 3), ETonline is proud to exclusively present Torrey's very personal and touching video that attests to her special love for her adopted dog, Beau.

"There are so many things I love about Beau," DeVitto says in the spot. "My sister and I nicknamed him mushy-mush because he literally just melts in your arms when you pick him up."
