With only a month left until Oprah Winfrey turns the big 6-0, ET flashes back to her celebrations for her previous milestone birthdays.
Before Oprah turns 60 on January 29, we've dug through the archives to show you how the media mogul celebrated her last two milestone birthdays.
For Oprah's 40th birthday in 1994, she was surprised on her show by none other than music legends Patti LaBelle and Aretha Franklin. As you can see in the flashback, she was genuinely shocked and overcome with emotion to also be joined by her partner Stedman and close friend Gayle King.
Another surprise was in the works ten years later for Oprah when she was paid special visits by both actor John Travolta and singer Tina Turner on her show for her 50th birthday.
The party continued later that weekend for Oprah, as she was feted with an all-ladies luncheon and an extravagant birthday party that carried on until the wee hours of the morning.
"It was the most glamorous, elegant, fabulous thing anybody had ever seen," she said the morning after her birthday extravaganza.
