Fashion Police star Kelly Osbourne joined other Hollywood stars including Sharon Stone, Goldie Hawn, Chelsea Handler, Lily Tomlin and more for Thursday's annual amfAR Inspiration Gala Los Angeles in support of the organization's efforts to end the AIDS epidemic.
One of the highlights of the evening came when Handler decided spontaneously to donate a big chunk of cash to the cause. "I'm going to give $100,000, she was quoted as saying at the event at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. "I hate going to these things. You get a little buzz going and then whoopsy! I have a traveler's cheque in my car."
Osbourne, who serves as an official amfAR ambassador, said such events are proof that fundraising activities don't have to be boring. "Every event that they ever put together always ends up being the most fun, inspiring -- and it's almost sad to say party -- that you can ever go to." She added: "It's just a great way for people who have a platform to get the word out."
