Female Celebs Top Web Searches for 2013

December 20, 2013

Women ruled 2013, according to Bing search trends. The website's top five most searched people of the year were all females!

Taylor Swift made a leap from Bing's tenth most searched person of 2012 to the No. 4 spot this year. As usual, the gracious star credited her fans with her growing popularity.

"The fans keep raising the bar," said Swift. "It makes me want to raise the bar on the music I'm making and make an even better next record."

Kim Kardashian suffered a slight drop, getting bumped from the top spot in 2012 to the second spot in 2013. The reality star was outdone by Beyoncé.

The third place celeb, Rihanna, garnered most of her attention at the Grammy Awards, which she attended with Chris Brown. Later that night she sang a tribute to Bob Marley.

"It's such an honor," Rihanna said at the ceremony. "I love Bob Marley and I've always loved him ever since I remember knowing music."

Madonna snuck in on the list at No. 5. Over the summer, fans got to relive her epic 2012 tour through the EPIX special Madonna: The MDNA Tour.
