This past December, the actor was accused of plagiarizing some of his short film and allegedly plagiarizing his apology for such actions. He later took to skywriting an apology to Daniel Clowes, who wrote and created the comic Justin M. Damiano that Shia took from.
The actor's next film, the NC-17 flick Nymphomaniac, is set come out in the states sometime early this year, but no word yet as to whether Shia will be on the promotional tour.
