What had ETonline readers buzzing this week?

1. Justin Bieber Arrested & Charged in Toronto

Justin Bieber was arrested and charged with assault on Wednesday, Jan. 29, after surrendering to the Toronto Police Department.

According to a police statement, the charge stems from an alleged altercation involving a limousine driver that took place Monday, December 30. The police report goes on to allege that a man struck the limousine driver on the back of the head several times while the driver was transporting the man and five other people from a nightclub to a hotel.
Bieber is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Monday, March 10.

"We anticipate that this matter will be treated as a summary offense, the equivalent of a misdemeanor in the United States," Bieber's reps said in a statement to ET. "Our position is that Mr. Bieber is innocent."

Bieber was released from custody that evening.

2. Rosie O'Donnell to Make First Return to 'The View'

Rosie O'Donnell is set to make her return to ABC's The View for the first time since she left the daytime show as a co-host in 2007.

The network announced on Monday that O'Donnell, 51, will appear as a guest during The View's February 7 episode.

After leaving the show after Season 10, O'Donnell -- who currently guest stars on ABC Family's drama series The Fosters -- made no secret about behind-the-scenes tension she experienced with others while doing the show. She also frequently clashed on-air with former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck over news topics and politics.

In making the announcement, The View co-executive producer Barbara Walters said she's looking forward to welcoming O'Donnell back, if only for one day. "I have great affection for Rosie and we have remained in contact through the years. I am happy to welcome her back to the program. She is always a lively and engaging guest and a part of the show's successful history," she said.

3. New Celebrity Trend: IV Drippin'

It seems some stars have found a quick way to rehydrate after a night of partying.

Rihanna first posted an Instagram IV photo of herself back in May 2012 following New York's MET Gala, and now her gal pal Cara Delevingne has taken to the health trend. The 21-year-old model, who's been spotted partying with everyone from Rihanna to Harry Styles, shared an IV photo on Jan. 24, writing: "IV Drippin."

It's being reported that Delevingne is holding hands with Fast & Furious star Michelle Rodriguez, 35. IV drips are being hailed as miracle workers when it comes to curing hangovers, and have become so popular that some health centers offer Groupons for the procedure.

4. Macklemore & Madonna Perform During Mass Wedding

The Grammy Awards made history Sunday night when 33 gay and straight couples were married in a ceremony during a performance by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis that also featured a surprise appearance by Madonna.

The mass wedding -- held during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles -- was officiated by rapper/actress/talk show host Queen Latifah during a performance of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' hip-hop hit Same Love. The couples were described as comprising "gay, straight, old, young, of many races and many colors."

Katy Perry was a lucky audience member to catch a bouquet. She wrote on Instagram: "Congrats to all the #samelove couples tonight. You had me in tears of joy for y'all! Also... Look who caught the bouquet!!! #okuuuurrrr"

The track -- which also featured vocals by singer/songwriter Mary Lambert -- addresses gay and lesbian rights and was recorded during the campaign for Washington Referendum 74, which became law in 2012 to legalize same-sex marriages in Washington state.

Producer Ryan Lewis told the New York Times beforehand that the Grammy wedding "will be in our minds the ultimate statement of equality, that all the couples are entitled to the same exact thing." Lewis' sister Laura and her fiancé Alex were reportedly among those participating in the mass ceremony.

5. Heidi Klum & Bodyguard Boyfriend Split

Heidi Klum and her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kirsten have separated, People reports.

According to the news source, Klum, 40, and Kirsten, 41, split up weeks ago after dating for a year and a half.

Klum reportedly began dating Kirsten after filing for divorce from Seal -- her husband of nearly seven years.

People goes on to report that the split also marks the end of their professional relationship, but they plan on remaining friends.

"Life is about timing," a source told People. "He was incredibly supportive and they were there for each other, but they're moving on now. They still have a great friendship."
