Shakira shares details about her new album and motherhood in this behind-the-scenes look at her Latina cover shoot.

The 37-year-old singer is dropping her tenth studio album on March 25, and she revealed that this project might give fans another view of her.

"This new album has a lot of rock 'n' roll," Shakira said of the self-titled LP. "It reflects a lot of my music tastes."

The Voice coach welcomed her first-born son into the world on January 22, 2013, and she explained how becoming a parent has changed her life, saying, "The best part about being a mom is that you learn so much about yourself. You transcend your own existence to give everything you know and everything you are and share it with this new person in your life."

Shakira's April 2014 Latina cover officially hits newsstands, Nook & Kindle Fire starting March 11.
