Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas Make Rare Public Appearance

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas appeared together on the red carpet for the first time in a year at the premiere of the play The Library in New York City on Tuesday night, April 15.

The last time the two were seen together publicly was April 2013. In August of 2013, the couple, who got married in November of 2000, announced that they were separating in an attempt to evaluate their marriage, but reportedly reconciled in November.

Douglas, 68, and Zeta-Jones, 43, have two children together, Dylan and Carys.

The Off-Broadway play The Library is directed by Steven Soderbergh, best known for his feature films. Both Douglas and Zeta-Jones have worked with Soderbergh on several films, and actually appeared together in the director's crime drama in 2000 titled Traffic.
