Andre Leon Talley Expects Kim & Kanye Wedding Invitation Within Weeks

Fashion guru Andre Leon Talley recently defended Vogue's decision to put Kim Kardashisan and Kanye West on the April 2014 cover of the iconic magazine and now he's dishing to ET about the couple's ongoing wedding plans.

"Not yet, I'm still looking and waiting, I'm sure it's going to come," said Talley, Zappos Couture and Artistic Director, when asked about Kardashian and West's wedding invitation. "I can say for 90 percent sure that it will be in the mail before the 15th of May..." He added that while he can't guarantee he'll be invited, he believes that he will. "I'm anxious to see the invitation!"

When questioned about what the wedding festivities will entail, he said people should expect something on a grand scale, almost certainly in France. "An extraordinary celebration that will run over three of four days," he predicted.

"There will be so many events, they'll be concerts, they'll be fabulous
dinners. It's rumored that it's going to be in (the French city of
Versailles), but I do not know. You'll probably have to go to a church,
you'll have to go to a dinner -- black tie, white tie -- lots of changes
of clothes and lots of luggage."

Kanye popped the question to Kim last October, but so far the couple has been silent on any concrete wedding plans they have.

Talley spoke to ET on the sidelines of event by Zappos Couture, which brought together the Las Vegas fashion community for an evening with Talley. The event featured an exhibit of iconic international fashion campaign images from Talley's work with Numéro Russia. Select images were available for silent auction, facilitated by the Las Vegas Fashion Council, with proceeds benefiting Dress for Success Southern Nevada.
