The much-anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is one step closer with the sending out of invitations that apparently reveal the date of the nuptials.
The invites for the event -- widely believed to be scheduled for some time in the coming weeks in France -- have been sent out to guests, a source close to the couple tells ET. The invitations urge potential guests to "save the date," which is revealed as May 24!
Fashion guru Andre Leon Talley told ET earlier this week
that he was "90 percent sure" the invitations would be in the mail before mid-May. "I'm still looking and waiting, I'm sure it's going to come," said Talley, Zappos Couture and Artistic Director.
Talley also speculated on details of the wedding bash. "There will be so many events, they'll be concerts, they'll be fabulous dinners. It's rumored that it's going to be in (the French city of Versailles), but I do not know. You'll probably have to go to a church, you'll have to go to a dinner -- black tie, white tie -- lots of changes of clothes and lots of luggage."
