How Shakira Met Her Baby Daddy

Although she plays a runaway bride in her new Empire music video, Shakira is head-over-heels about boyfriend Gerard Pique.

Shakira, 37, told radio host Elvis Duran that she's going to be a groupie for her footballer baby daddy, 27, as he heads back to the World Cup in June -- the same event where the couple first met.

"I met my son's dad because he was actually [playing] at the World Cup and he said, 'I am gonna win this World Cup, so I can see you at the finals,' and he won," said Shakira, who was performing at the World Cup that year.

Fast forward to present day and Shakira shares a 15-month-old son with Gerard named Milan Pique Mebarak. The Colombian singer is soon expected to go on her first tour as a mother, which Shakira says is just fine with Milan.

"He's so adaptable and so friendly and sociable," Shakira said of her son. "He likes traveling ... He likes planes ... He's a rolling stone just like his mama."

Elvis Duran will be hosting the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Music Awards Thursday night at the Shrine Auditorium, where Shakira will be performing Empire from her tenth studio album Shakira.
