Everybody has embarrassing stories -- even celebrities -- as we found out during a joint interview with NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen and his mom Jeanne.
Nowadays Eric is enjoying his enviable role as Marty Deeks on one of the most-watched shows on television, but there was a time when his resume was a little less impressive.
"There were times when I would go to one of his movies ... and I would say, 'Thank goodness I only have to see this movie once,'" said Eric's mom Jeanne.
Mama Jeanne went on to reveal a little-known skill that Eric honed as a child -- the ability to get out of doing boring work.
"If he didn't like something, like a class or lesson, he figured out how to get the teacher to say, 'I think you should pull him out of this,'" said Jeanne.
Today, Eric has a child of his own -- son Wyatt -- allowing Eric and his mom a chance to bond on another level.
"All his life I would say to him, 'Eric, you'll never know how much I love you until you have children of your own,'" said Jeanne.
"The most important thing that I learned was the idea of unconditional love," said Eric.
