Melissa Rycroft introduces ET to her adorable kids Ava and Beckett, plus reveals the candid dating advice she would give them!
Bachelor favorite Melissa Rycroft, 31, recently sat down for an intimate interview with ET's Brooke Anderson, where she opened up about everything from suffering from postpartum depression to the future dating advice she wants to give her two kids Ava and Beckett for the future!
Melissa suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to her oldest child, Ava, now 3, and said that her experience with her second child Beckett -- born on April 20 – has been completely different.

"It was always in the back of my mind, because that was such a brutal time in my life, and I was so stubborn about it and it lasted so long, but I knew instantly when I had him, that it was a different experience," she revealed. "Emotionally, it felt so different."
And how is her husband Tye Strickland as a father?
"Thankfully, Tye is very hands-on. And he's always like, 'What can I do? How can I help?'" she happily shared.
Melissa, who memorably won the final rose from "bachelor" Jason Mesnick in the 13th season of the hit ABC show -- only to have him break-up with her during the After the Final Rose episode and choose runner-up Molly Malaney instead -- also candidly admits that she was a "hot mess" when it came to dating in her younger years, and hopes for a better future for her kids.
"There's no denying that [I was a hot mess]," she laughed. "I just want to be honest. I wish growing up, my parents would have shook me a little bit and said, 'What are you doing? You're strong, you're independent, you're your own person.' I want them to be better than I was -- especially my daughter."
In particular, she expressed regrets on not savoring being single and young at 22 years old.
"I wanted love so badly, you know?," she admitted. "And I didn't just date and have fun being single at 22. And now I'm like, 'Why didn't I have fun being single and 22?!' … And now being 31, I'm like, I could've enjoyed that time a little more. Now, my husband enjoyed that time a lot. If there was a happy medium between where I was at 25 and where my husband was at 25, that's the mix I want for my kids."
