Halle Berry Talks Breastfeeding on 'Ellen:' My Baby's Sucking the Life Out of Me!

By

Halle Berry makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, May 20, and the notoriously private Oscar winning actress surprisingly lets down her guard when talking about her seven-month old son Maceo with husband Olivier Martinez!

Acknowledging that it's unusual for a woman of her age, 47, to have a baby, Halle talks openly about her "geriatric pregnancy."

"I didn't think it was possible at my age, honestly," she says. "They call it a geriatric pregnancy. This is probably way TMI but I was already kind of pre-menopausal. To have this happen, only [her daughter Nahla’s] prayers could've done this."

Halle also got brutally honest about the differences between breastfeeding Nahla, now 6, and breastfeeding baby Maceo.

"There's a difference between boys and girls. I breastfed Nahla and I’m nursing my baby," she explained. "When I would put Nahla on the boob she would go [light sucking] -- a nice little girly suck. With him it's like, [chomping suck]. He's like, sucking the life out of me! So I see the difference between boys and girls."

Ellen’s hilarious response?

"That was TMI in my opinion!"
