Hollywood High: Their Obsession With Marijuana

From One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik lighting up to Miley Cyrus sporting Mary Jane inspired apparel, it seems Hollywood is no longer being shy about their love for marijuana.

The video of 1D’s Louis and Zayn smoking while on their way to a concert in Peru sparked a blazing debate Wednesday.

“That's just Zayn warming up there before the show,” Louis said about his bandmate while narrating the video. “One very, very important factor to Zayn's warm up of course is - Mary J.”

Shortly after the video was taken, the band performed in front of roughly 40,000 fans. One Direction told ET their official comment is, “This matter is in the hands of our lawyers.” 

But, Zayn and Louis are not the first stars to recently display their love for the ganja. Miley Cyrus has been donning multiple costumes inspired by plant and Zach Galifianakis talked about it on Real Time With Bill Mahr.

“I think that people see it as taboo still,” the Hangoveractor admitted.

Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and Lady Gaga are also among the A-list stars admitting to cannabis.
