The event happened just two days after the pair, who share the same birthday, turned 53.
Etheridge wore a grey suit, while Wallem wore a white dress. During the ceremony, Etheridge sang a new song she wrote especially for her love. Etheridge's four children -- Bailey Jean Cypher, 17; Beckett Cypher, 15; and twins Miller Steven Etheridge and Johnnie Rose Etheridge, 7 -- all participated in the nuptials.
The newlyweds head out on their honeymoon Sunday morning, a location picked by Etheridge that will reportedly be a surprise to her new spouse.
The happy couple have been friends for more than a decade and started dating in 2010, announcing their engagement last June after the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition 8 were deemed unconstitutional.
