ET caught up with Paula Deen's son Bobby Deen and executive producer Gordon Elliott on-location of her new network Wednesday, where the two dished on what we can expect from her huge new venture.
Paula's new network will be an interactive digital experience that will allow viewers to "engage and access Paula and her Southern home cooking, anytime, anywhere -- on computer, smartphone or tablet."
According to Paula's son Bobby, the 67-year-old Southern chef will be "less edited" and "freer" on her new network.
"What makes her so wonderful is her accessibility and people can relate to her, and with this network they're actually going to get to see her on a completely different level where she's maybe a little less edited, and she's a little freer to do whatever she likes," he told ET. "So you're gonna see more of her home, more of her friends. You're gonna see more inside her personality."
And what kind of content can we expect from the new network?
"All Paula, all the time," Elliott said. "We're gonna start the network with hundreds and hundreds of pieces that viewers can choose for themselves what they want. We've got classic recipes, we've got recipes that can be cooked in under 10 minutes with under five ingredients called 'Five in a Dime' ... and game shows. It's the first digital lifestyle network in the world."
"I think unlimited access is really what they're gonna get," Bobby stressed.
As for actually getting subscribers to her network -- a subscription fee will be released this summer with everyone getting a 14-day free trial -- Elliott's definitely not worried.
"She's got four and a half million Facebook fans. She's got a million fans on her own website. She's got 1.5 million Twitter followers ... She's got an enormous fan base. Plus she's got this huge viewing audience that's been starved of her for a year now," he explained. "So there's a lot of demand. I don't think we're going to have a problem with subscribers."
Paula herself commented on her new venture Wednesday.
"I'm so excited about my new online network and can't wait to show everyone what we've been working on," Deen said in a statement. "We're going to have so much fun being together and cooking up some wonderful new and classic dishes. ... I can't wait to crank up the oven and get cooking for the people I love: my family, my friends and my fans!"
The Paula Deen network launches in September 2014.
