Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino was arrested Tuesday at a New Jersey tanning salon, ET has learned.
Police tell ET that they received a call at around 2:10 p.m. Officers soon arrived at Sorrentino's Boca Tanning Salon in Middletown, New Jersey, where he was allegedly involved in an altercation.
Sorrentino, 31, was then arrested and taken to be processed.
The reality star is perhaps best known for appearing on the MTV show Jersey Shore star, along with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley. The cast coined the acronym GTL (Gym Tan Laundry), which accurately reflected their lifestyle while on the show.
Sorrentino has a new reality show for TV Guide Network called The Sorrentinos, which will follow his family as they try to run a tanning salon and support Sorrentino's sobriety. The Sorrentinos debuts July 15.
