June 19, 2014
Harrison Ford is on the mend after an accident last week on the set of J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars film.
"Harrison Ford's left leg was broken in an accident," his rep told ET in statement. "His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly. He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."
Ford, 71, is reprising his role as Han Solo in the next installment of Star Wars and was rushed to the hospital after his leg was crushed by a door on the Millennium Falcon, the character's iconic spaceship.
