He's the star of what will be this weekend's biggest blockbuster, and ET is taking a look back at the career of 43-year-old Mark Wahlberg using amazing old footage from our vault.

Today he's just under Tom Cruise as No. 28 on Forbes' World's Most Powerful Celebrities list, but we can't forget his humble beginnings as the leader of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

The hip-hop group put out two albums before Mark began his transition to Calvin Klein underwear model.

"My mother still thinks I'm a virgin," Mark said in 1993.

From there, his resume continued to grow as acting roles began to pile in. He's had at least one movie out for every year from 1994 to now, except in 2011.
