Just days before the one year anniversary of Cory Monteith's drug overdose, tragedy has struck Glee again. Matt Bendik, the boyfriend of Becca Tobin, who plays Kitty Wilde, was found dead in a Philly hotel room, and ET has the latest on this breaking news and the investigation.
Police tell ET it was nearly one in the afternoon when housekeeping discovered Matt's lifeless body lying in the hotel bed. At 1:17, he was pronounced dead.
The medical examiner said that "the autopsy did not immediately establish a clear cause of death" and that "there was no evidence of trauma."
Prior to his death, the couple is said to have gone out with friends in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
Eerily, Bendik was 31 years old -- the same age as Glee star Cory Monteith when he passed.
