Supermodel Chrissy Teigen has a few words for the popular clothing retailer Forever 21, and the reason may surprise you. The 28 year-old claims in a recent interview with DuJour Magazine that she was fired from a modeling gig when she was younger because was too fat for them.
"I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo," she told the magazine. "And they shoot that photo off to my agency, who then calls me as I'm sitting in the make-up chair, and they say, 'You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and you need to get your measurements taken."
Teigen, who is known for her outspoken and hilarious remarks on Twitter and Instagram fires back at the clothing brand years later. "I hate you, Forever 21," she says. "I hate you so much. Honestly, you're the worst."
Clearly Chrissy's successful career has gone unphased since the unpleasant experience. In addition to appearing in multiple magazine covers this year, including the coveted Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Swimsuit Edition, Teigen is also currently a guest judge on MTV's new cooking show, Snack Off. And need we remind you that her husband is John Legend and his hit All Of Me is written about her? You go, girl.
