Jason Biggs Apologizes for Tweeting 'Insensitive' Malaysia Airlines Joke

After backlash for a tweeted joke about the tragic crash of the Malaysia Airlines plane on July 17, Jason Biggs is offering an apology.

The plane was carrying 295 passengers to Kuala Lampur when it crashed in Ukraine. After news of the accident broke, Biggs tweeted, "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?" incurring an onslaught of criticism.

After initially defending his actions, Biggs has since changed his tune, tweeting:

Biggs, known for being outspoken on social media, faced a similar situation when he joked about dead Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill in May.

"Crazy rule change- instead of voting off the contestants, this season #TheBachelorette gets to kill them off," he tweeted during the hit ABC show's season premiere.
