"The Situation", Michael Sorrentino from The Jersey Shore, will be going to anger management.

Sorrentino agreed to take anger management classes as a part of a deal to resolve the assault charges he faced on July 15 when he had a fight with his brother at their family tanning salon in Middletown Township, New Jersey. Today, a municipal court judge granted the deal and adjourned the matter for three months.

If Sorrentino can successfully complete the anger management program, the charge against him may be downgraded.

Known for his misbehaving role in MTV's reality show The Jersey Shore, "The Situation" got his own reality spinoff show on TVGN on July 15.

Airing on Tuesdays, his new reality show stars his family and is called The Sorrentinos. The show chronicles not only his career moves but his family life and their business, the Boca Tanning Club. The Boca Tanning Club is the same location where the fight occurred.
