Nick Cannon's name has been tossed around a lot in the conversation of actors who could play Richard Pryor in an upcoming biopic, and Nick opened up to ET about what the role would mean to him.
"It's one of those things that if I do get the opportunity to be a part of a dream project, just know I'm going to dedicate my all and do everything I need to do," said the America's Got Talent host.
Nick has already been given the blessing of Richard Pryor's son Richard Pryor Jr., who was impressed by Nick's dedication to embodying the comedy icon.
"He's doing the hair, the mustache, and he's smoking cigarettes," said Richard Jr. "The only thing I told him was don't use the crack pipe."
ET went behind the scenes of AGT as Nick prepared for the live shows, which air Tuesdays and Wednesdays on NBC.
