Miley Cyrus' New Tattoo Has a Misspelled Message

That's not how you spell "your," but it is how you show love for the Flaming Lips.

Miley Cyrus has a couple of pop-culture trademark moves include twerking, sticking her tongue out ...and getting a seemingly endless number of tiny tattoos.

On Tuesday, the 21-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer decided to get some fresh ink in-between stops on her Bangerz tour, and she chose New York City-based tattoo artist Bang Bang for her body art.

Miley and Bang Bang started off the party right by getting matching crescent moons tattooed on each other. Miley got hers on her inner arm, while Bang Bang's new tat was inked into his thumb.

The tattoo artist posted an Instagram pic of Miley with a tattoo gun, writing:"I turned @mileycyrus Into a tattoo artist today!"

To top her adventure, Miley got a mindbogglingly and (hopefully) intentionally ironic forearm tattoo that reads: "Love yer brain."

In all seriousness, though, "Love Yer Brain" is the title of a song by the Flaming Lips. (Listen here!) Anyone who follows Cyrus on social media knows that she and Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne are good friends -- and Wayne even re-posted Cyrus' new tatt on his own Instagram account. "Yep!!!! Sister Cyrus got Love Yer Brain tat today!!!!! Cool f**kin badass freak ass ghetto hippy !!! I love her sooooo much!!!!" he wrote.

The former Hannah Montana star already has a number of small tattoos, including an anchor, several different written passages and a dedication to her late dog Floyd, who passed away in April. The singer recently showed off the Floyd tattoo, and some serious sideboob, in an Instagram post earlier this week.
