Soap Opera Actor, Charles Keating Dies

Charles Keating passed away at 72.

British actor Charles Keating has died at the age of 72.


The Wrap
reports that Keating had been battling cancer.

Keating's acting credits date back to 1956 in As The World Turns. He was known for his acting in Soap Operas starring in All My Children, Port Charles and Another World. His role as Carl Hutchins on Another World won him an Emmy in 1996.

In addition to soap operas, Keating had roles in film. He was in The Bodyguard, The Thomas Crown Affair and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

Keating is survived by his wife and two sons.
